New features include pink hair in the Ember Shop, alternative forest paths, and improved NPC interactions like Renegade Leader's dialogue. Major updates optimize performance, enhance AI, and fix critical bugs, including stealth-related issues, with various balance tweaks and visual improvements.

- Renegade Leader (previously Talon the Chieftain) now chat when engaging
Changes
- Switching Godot engine version from 4.3 to 4.4-dev4 which hopefully improves lag spikes on all platforms
- Disabled DirectX fallback on Windows because it crashes too often (will switch to OpenGL if Vulkan is not supported)
- Improved AI in almost all aspects
- Improved net code and performance when shooting arrows
- Pets are now also half-transparent in stealth (only for you, other player still don't see it)
- Bandit mage and archers now try to only shoot in line-of-sight
- Changing languages now show the target language correctly
- Some language updates
- Renamed Bandit Captain to Renegade Leader (and made him look even angrier)
- Made Frost Horn, Renegade Leader and Bandit Mage stronger
- Boar and Scout are now passive
- Reworked forest campground
- Swapped Scavenger and Mauler levels
- All NPCs will spawn instantly on server start
- Server is now running with a 25 tick rate instead of 60 (hopefully becomes more stable)
- Replaced fallback texture for humanoid characters (had white skin, red hair and green dots before) with a silhouette
- Updated move speed buff VFX
- Updated NPC chat messages
- Removed falling leaves in main menu (to check if those make low-end Android crash)
- Settings that are irrelevant for your used platform are now hidden (e.g. window mode on Android)
- Made performance widget more compact
Fixes
- Fixed critical bug creating broken net code (kicks, phantoms, etc) which was caused by killing character in stealth
- Fixed critical bug where Healing Wave animation infinitely looped in edge cases
- Fixed pet re-appearing locally when switching equipment in stealth
- Fixed (very old) bug that prevented characters from dying if they get healed or regenerate on the same tick as getting lethal damage
- Normal guards will attack hostile players as intended
- Bandit Scout properly drops blueprint scrap sword
- Fixed that shooting arrows close to walls instantly despawning them
- Fixed Grizzly never getting homesick and hunting noobs through the entire map
- Fixed mobile Ember Shop view which prevented scrolling
- Fixed logo animation after splash screen
- Closing game on Mac should no longer freeze on certain systems
